Irritating caller tune - free by Hutch - charged if you did not discover

Hutch is upto new gimmick since the last one month.

Hutch will silently activate a caller tune for your number and charge you for it.

If you call the Hutch care (111 - 1 - 1- - 1 - 9) and talk to the bpo guy/gal they will say this is 'free offer activation'.

They will ask you questions like an immigration officer - 'When did you realize the caller tune was setup ?"

So, you tell them - on so and so date and when so and so person called me.

Next they will tell you - Please send an SMS msg XYZ ABC etc to a number.

The number is not toll free !!!

So, you need to pay for letting them know that 'they need to disable a free offer that you never asked in the first place'.

For consumers, the correct approach is to
a. ask for a toll free number to which the SMS needs to be sent to.
b. ask the bpo guy/gal to create a trouble ticket for you and fix the problem from their end.

They will say that it will be de-activated in the next 24 hrs.
So make sure that you verify that indeed the caller tune has been de-activated.

The whole approach taken by Hutch is not only very unprofessional but more importantly can be embarrasing for your clients when they call you up on your cell.

M.K.Ahmed Supermarket or Super Cheats

M.K.Ahmed Supermarket turns out to be Super cheats !

A Nandini milk packet which has a printed M.R.P. of INR 7.00 is being charged at the counter at INR 7.50.

When the accountant (he said his name is Mohammed) was asked - why ?,
he arrogantly said 'Rs 7.50' take it or leave it.

When again asked the reason. He just repeated, 'Rs 7.50' take it or leave it.

That is cheating the customer ! This is against the law !
